Baby boomers remain the dominant force on both sides of the transaction, with many paying cash and moving toward family in retirement. The divide between buyers with equity and those without has rarely been sharper.
Nashville continues to attract attention beyond the residential market. A new CBRE report ranked the city No. 4 nationally for net headquarters relocations last year, reinforcing what the population numbers have been saying for some time: the long-term story here is still very much intact.
