Oak Hill is a small residential city inside Davidson County, tucked between Green Hills, Forest Hills and Brentwood. It has kept its own government and a strict large-lot zoning code since the 1950s, which is why the streets here stay wooded and quiet even though downtown Nashville is only about fifteen minutes north. Everyday needs are minutes away. Green Hills has the mall, Whole Foods and a dense cluster of restaurants, while Hillsboro Village and 12 South add walkable dining a little further north. Cool Springs and Brentwood shopping sit just south. Nashville International Airport is roughly twenty-five minutes east.
