I’m a little obsessed…in the best possible way.

I’m not the typical Nashville Realtor. I’m a lifelong real estate and architecture junkie who can’t resist diving deep into market data, neighborhood trends, and forecasts. For me, buying and selling luxury real estate in Nashville isn’t about hunches or hype. It’s about strategy, facts, and protecting your interests at every turn.

For nearly 25 years, I’ve guided clients through more than $900 million in real estate transactions and helped set dozens of record sales across Nashville and Middle Tennessee. Consistently ranked among the top 1% of real estate agents nationwide, I bring the perspective of representing both buyers and sellers, giving me a deep understanding of what drives each party. That insight translates into strategies that move deals forward and deliver results. Whether it’s negotiating contracts, navigating Nashville’s complex short-term rental laws, or identifying micro-markets others overlook, I bring clarity and confidence to every deal.

Having lived and worked in Middle Tennessee for more than 30 years, I’ve witnessed firsthand the incredible growth and transformation of Nashville’s real estate market. From historic Germantown streets to the rolling hills of Williamson County, I’ve studied how each neighborhood has evolved and how that impacts both lifestyle and long-term investment value. And yes, I remember when 12 South had more chop shops than coffee shops. This perspective allows me to guide clients not only on the home they buy today, but on how that decision shapes their future wealth and happiness.

Outside of work, I’m a husband, a dad to a teenage son, and the proud dog dad of a Cavapoo who thinks she runs the show. I coach youth football, I teach tax strategies, I tell dad jokes, and I love a great meal. I grow a mean mustache and hit the weights (because my son can’t be stronger than me yet). I love a good conversation about economics, politics, or the latest Freakonomics podcast, and I never get tired of exploring Nashville neighborhoods and finding the stories behind the properties. When I’m not in Nashville, you’ll likely find me traveling with Liz and Woods to a UNESCO world heritage site. Machu Picchu, here we come!

What's the craziest thing you've seen or done in real estate?

Almost 15 years ago I had clients ask for a last minute showing in the Governor’s Club. The listing agent said the owners were out of town and gave me the alarm code and told me to be sure that I rearm the alarm when the showing was done. We walked into this massive house that had no lights on, as expected, and proceeded to show. We walked into the kitchen and there were some dirty dishes in the sink, but sure, that happens with last minute showings. We walked upstairs and many of the doors were closed. A little odd, but I’ve seen that before. I opened the first door and the bed was disheveled and figured that is why the door was closed. Then I heard a floor creaking sound from further down the hall. My clients and I were a little freaked out, but I’m a big guy so I confidently walked down the hall, confidently threw open the door, and screamed. I wasn’t the only scream. My scream was joined by at least 5 naked adult screams as they scrambled for cover. Apparently, their college-aged child unexpectedly came home for the weekend and didn’t notify anyone! While the home was beautiful, those clients ended up buying in Hampton Reserve.

What's the favorite place you've traveled and why?

It’s a tie between Bruges and Bath. We love visiting UNESCO world heritage sites and these two idyllic cities have so much to offer from history to architecture to food to culture and happy people. We love international travel and look forward to many more trips.

What's the best weekend getaway in Tennessee?

When Woods was younger, it was Chattanooga. Now, it might be lounging poolside, sunshine overhead, pina colada machine on repeat.

PennePazze, Hugh-Baby’s, Perry’s, J. Alexanders, Humo, 50 Kalo

Which nashville neighborhoods have your heart?

I still love Germantown and the old peninsula in Hendersonville

What's the one home feature that instantly wins you over?

A long pea gravel drive beneath a perfectly spaced canopy of trees, each one uplit to create an unforgettable arrival.
